The BREKO SummerSchool will go into the 5th round from 23 to 27 August 2021 and will propose an highly interesting and practically relevant intensive seminar for telecommunications executives exclusively.

The BREKO workshops take place in the newly built Study & Conference Center of the Mannheim Business School. The modern study and conference centre is located in the light-flooded basement of the baroque castle of the University of Mannheim and thus combines innovation and tradition. I was lucky enough to take part in the BREKO SummerSchool 22 this year.
The curriculum included great lectures and group work on the topics of sustainability, sales strategies, analytics in top-class sport, negotiation skills, the development of new business models and regulation. It was an exciting, exhausting but very instructive week.

As a newcomer to the industry, the SummerSchool 2020 offered me an informative and exciting week. Both the varied seminar content and the exchange with the other participants provided a broad insight into the market. In addition to the experiences from the telecommunications industry, practical examples from other industries provided interesting impulses and approaches for one's own business field. Overall, the SummerSchool was very well organised with a successful balance between intensive training content and a pleasant social programme for exchanging ideas among each other.
Das war die BREKO WinterSchool 23
Erstmals ging die BREKO WinterSchool in diesem Jahr an den Start und konnte wie schon die BREKO SummerSchool als hochinteressantes und praxisrelevantes Intensievseminar punkten.
Die Teilnehmer kamen aus ganz unterschiedlichen Bereichen der TK-Industrie: Dabei waren u. a. Produktmanager, Teamleiter, Geschäftsführer und Kommunikationsexperten von erfahrenen aber auch jungen TK-Unternehmen. Im Vordergrund der heterogenen Gruppe standen dabei abgesehen von der Informationsvermittlung das Netzwerken und der persönliche Austausch.
Einen großen Stellenwert im diesjährigen Kurs stellte der wichtige Input zu aktuellen Herausforderungen des TK- und Glasfaser-Marktes wie beispielsweise der Entwicklung von Geschäfts- und Vermarktungsstrategien, der Implementation von Nachhaltigkeitskonzepten oder der Herausforderungen im Glasfaser-Vertrieb dar.
