BREKO Academy: with its BREKO WinterSchool 23

The Mannheim Business School is part of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Mannheim, which looks back on a tradition of more than 100 years and is considered the clear first address in the German-speaking world when it comes to training future business leaders. The Mannheim Business School (MBS) bundles all activities of the University of Mannheim in the field of management education and is one of the leading institutions of its kind in Europe.

Its range of offerings includes MBA and Executive MBA programmes, specialised Master's programmes, open courses as well as tailor-made continuing education solutions for companies. Mannheim's success factors are research and teaching at top international level, internationality, practical orientation and consistent quality management. Mannheim Business School was the first German institution to be accredited by AACSB.

The BREKO SummerSchool will go into the 5th round from 23 to 27 August 2021 and will propose an highly interesting and practically relevant intensive seminar for telecommunications executives exclusively.

The seminar is designed for network operators as well as service providers and hardware and software suppliers.

Die Teilnehmer erhalten Einblicke, wie Data Analytics im Spitzensport eingesetzt wird. Dabei werden im digitalen Boardroom cutting edge Trainingsmethoden und virtuelle Trainingsmöglichkeiten vorgestellt und es wird von Sportpsychologe Dr. Jan Mayer erläutert, wie die Daten für das Training der Spitzensportler konkret genutzt werden können. Zudem erleben die Teilnehmer selbst
im Footbonaut, wie Analytics unsere Arbeits­welten verändern wird.

Valuable first-hand insights!

I was lucky enough to take part in the BREKO SummerSchool 22 this year. The curriculum included great lectures and group work on the topics of sustainability, sales strategies, analytics in top-class sport, negotiation skills, the development of new business models and regulation. It was an exciting, exhausting but very instructive week. Informative and exciting week!

As a newcomer to the industry, the SummerSchool 2020 offered me an informative and exciting week. Both the varied seminar content and the exchange with the other participants provided a broad insight into the market. In addition to the experiences from the telecommunications industry, practical examples from other industries provided interesting impulses and approaches for one's own business field. Overall, the SummerSchool was very well organised with a successful balance between intensive training content and a pleasant social programme for exchanging ideas among each other.
