High-performance broadband networks for the rapid exchange of information and knowledge are a prerequisite for economic growth and thus one of the most important location factors. The German Broadband Communications Association is convinced that the steady growth in data volumes and the development of broadband applications will multiply the demand for bandwidth and push the existing telecommunications infrastructure to its limits.
